23 Jun Ministry of humanitarian affairs FGS – MoHADM witnessed the distribution of food aid provided by Gift of the givers
The Ministry of humanitarian affairs and Disaster Management FGS –MoHADM was present at the distribution of food aid provided by Gift of the givers.
The distribution of food and other sleeping items benefited 300 families living in IDP camps in Deynile district of Banadir region.
These IDPs have been displaced from Lower Shabelle, Middle Shabelle, Bay, Bakool, Dinsor and parts of Juba due to the drought.
Mr. Abdi Hussein Abdi (Abdi Yare), the head of aid and liaison at the aid department, said that they will be assisted and their situation will be addressed, God willing.
