13 Jun Ministry of Humanitarian and Disaster Management sends three planeloads of food aid to Jowhar
The Ministry of Humanitarian and Disaster Management of the Federal Republic of Somalia has today sent three planeloads of food aid to Jowhar town in Hir Shabelle region.
The food is meant to benefit about 500 families who have been displaced by the floods in Jowhar town.
Director of the Ministry of Relief & Disaster Management of the Federal Republic of Somalia Mr. Ahmed Abukar Ahmed (Ahmed Wali) has donated food aid to Jowhar town.
One plane will also be sent as part of the relief operation in Jowhar.
