08 Aug MoHADM supporting IDPs beneficiaries in both Mogadishu and Middle – Shebelle

MoHADM supported 2470 IDPs in Mogadishu and districts located in Middle-Shebelle with food items in the month of August 2017.

MoHADM provided the support through partnership with local organizations such as Helping Hand for Relief and Development and Gift of the Givers. The beneficiaries live in Malable camp, Al-Hidaaya camp and Buulo Warbo camp in Daynile district, Martine Hospital (Hamar Wayne), Xerada Agoonta in Boondheere district, Warshikh district in Middle-Shebelle.

The food items consisted of rice, salt, sugar, tuna, beans, and oil. Abubakar Ahmed, a staff member, at MoHADM said: The IDPs in these camps are in further need to have a health clinic, a police station, schools and feeding places in order to build sustain life here.
