The Minister of humanitarian and Disaster Management, hon. Khadijo Mohamed Diriye, chaired a meeting of the Drought Relief Committee appointed by the Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, HE Mohamed Hussein Roble.
The meeting began with the distribution of the government’s allocation for drought relief, and today we have handed over the allocation to the state governments.
The handover ceremony at the Prime Minister’s Office was attended by State Ministers of Aid and attended by members of the Drought Relief Committee.
The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs of the South West State of Somalia, speaking on behalf of the states, thanked the government for its assistance and promised that it would reach its intended recipients.
