29 May The Ministry of Humanitarian condemns the abduction and brutal killing of eight aid workers killed in Gololey village, Balcad district.
The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, H.E. Hamza Said Hamza condemns the abduction and the brutal execution of eight aid workers by armed group in Gololey village of Balcad District. “I am deeply saddened and outraged by the news of the tragic killing of very young aid workers who were working on a health facility run by the NGO Zamzam foundation, they were abducted and subsequently killed by armed groups,” stated H.E Hamza Said Hamza. “My thoughts go to their families, friends and colleagues who are enduring unspeakable pain and hardship.” “Violence against humanitarians jeopardizes access to much needed assistance for the needy people particularly in the light of the pandemic COVID19,” stressed the Minster of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management Humanitarian.
