The Ministry of humanitarian affairs and Disaster Management FGS – MoHADM led by the Minister of humanitarian and Disaster, MP Khadija Mohamed Diriye, Director General of the Ministry of humanitarian and Disaster management, mr. Ahmed Abukar Ahmed (Ahmed wali) and the director of humanitarian affairs today sent a plane as food aid to the city of Bulaburde in Hiraan region, which has been isolated for more than 10 years, in compliance with the order of the President of Federal Republic Somalia Mr. Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud for the delivery of aid supplies to the regional governments of the country on Independence Day to reduce the effects of the drought on the local community.
The Minister of humanitarian affairs and Disaster Management, Member of Parliament Khadija Mohamed Diriye and all the UN agencies have already visited the city of Bulaburde in the Hiran region for a survey trip that they have made throughout the city and its surroundings which have been in a state of isolation for a while. in it.
The aid supplies that were sent today to the city of Bula-Burde were witnessed by MPs in the People’s Assembly including the former Minister of Security MP Abdirisaq Omar Mohamed, MP Mohamed Abdukadir and MP Abdinasir Shirwac who are all MPs. elected from Hiran region
Aid supplies have come to us from the governments of Qatar, the UAE and Saudi Arabia to deliver to the drought-stricken areas, including the regional government and Banadir region.
The Minister of humanitarian affairs and Disaster Management of the FGS Hon. Khadija Mohamed Diriye said that this aid is intended for the people affected by the drought in Hiran region.
